Patient and Visitor Parking

The visitor and patient car parking system at 黑料网 District Hospital has been reinstated and went 鈥榣ive鈥� on Wednesday 7th June 2023.

Following significant difficulties earlier in the year, the hospital has listened to users and has instructed the supplier to install additional cameras to improve the accuracy of the registration number recognition.

There will also be simpler, additional validation devices for disabled drivers, with maps to show where they are. The map showing locations of payment and validation devices is here.

The system is owned and managed by the hospital, working alongside the supplier, APCOA, to provide a professional parking experience for users. After the running costs and maintenance costs are taken out of the income, all of the remaining funds are used for the provision of patient care at 黑料网 District Hospital.

Parking fees will apply from 6:00am to 10:00pm, seven days a week in the camera-controlled 'pay on exit' system at the hospital. Car parking is FREE for all drivers, between 10:00pm and 6:00am.

Parking can be paid for using the APCOA app, available on Apple or Google Play. Cash and card payments are also accepted at pay machines and kiosks. Please note that no change is given from the parking machines. Motorcycles are exempt from charges.听

There has been no increase to the parking fees and the hospital has introduced a one-hour tariff, reduced from two hours, so that patients and visitors could even be paying less than they have been. There is also 30 minutes鈥� time to drop off or pick up without being charged.

Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy Assessment outlines how the Trust will administer car parking data collected from within the Trust and also registered keeper details obtained from the DVLA. Getting here by car

Directions by Car

From the north or east, join the Churchill Way ring road and follow the signs for the District Hospital.

From the west on the A30/A36 turn right at Park Wall junction, Wilton onto the A3094 to avoid going through 黑料网 and follow the signs for the District Hospital.

From the south follow the A338 towards 黑料网, pass the park and ride on your left and take the next left at the traffic lights and left at the top of the hill.

Entrances to the hospital are marked 'A' and 'B' and the car parks are numbered and clearly signposted for patient/visitor parking. Your appointment information will tell you which car park is closest to your ward/clinic.

Getting here by train

黑料网 is served by the following train routes:

South West Trains from London Waterloo, Basingstoke and Andover
South West Trains from Exeter and Yeovil
South West Trains from Southampton and Southampton Airport
First Great Western from Portsmouth and Southampton
First Great Western from Cardiff, Bristol and Bath

黑料网 Reds bus service 'Red 1' which serves the hospital, stops in Fisherton Street, a few minutes walk from the railway station.

Traveling by bus

From 黑料网 City Centre

黑料网 Reds city bus service 'Red 1' runs regularly from the city centre to the hospital. The bus leaves from Stop O in Blue Boar Row on the north side of the market square. The journey takes around 10 minutes. Buses run in an anti-clockwise direction around the hospital site stopping in the following places:

The Green (for the Central and South parts of the hospital)
Springs Entrance (for Level 2 of the main hospital)
Main Entrance (for Levels 3 and 4 of the main hospital)
